By submitting this application I /We hereby agree that the Clay County Fair Association, Inc. and the County of Clay will not be responsible for the loss or damage to property, or for personal injury which is a result of my/our participation in the Clay County Agricultural Fair. Also by submitting this application, I as an adult, guardian, or parent, accept complete responsibility, and release the Clay County Fair Association, Inc. and the County of Clay. Anyone participating in the Clay County Agricultural Fair, by way of entry, hereby agrees and consents to the use of any exhibit in any or all publications, TV publicity, brochure, internet, etc., that the Clay County Fair Association, Inc., may desire.

I/We have read and understand, and in consideration for being permitted to exhibit at this event, I/We agree and consent to abide by all the rules of exhibiting and of competition, including the IAFE (International Association of Fairs and Expositions) National Code of Show Ring Ethics as stated in the HandBook for this event. I /We hereby agree that the Clay County Fair Association, Inc., its Board of Directors, staff and the County of Clay will not be responsible for the loss or damage to property, or for personal injury which is a result of my/our participation in the Clay County Agricultural Fair. Upon signing this statement, I accept complete responsibility, and agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless both the Clay County Fair Association, Inc. and the Clay County Board of County Commissioners, Clay County for any and all damages, liability, claims, causes of action or suits attributable to or due to the actions or omissions of the undersigned or the use of occupancy of the premises Clay County Fair Association, Inc. and Clay County Fair Grounds. Anyone participating in the Clay County Agricultural Fair, by way of entry, hereby agrees and consents to the use of any exhibit in any or all publications, TV publicity, brochure, internet, etc., that the Clay County Fair Association, Inc., may desire. 2019 4-H/FFA Youth Livestock Show & Sale Swine Entry/Drawing Rules

Swine Application Due Date – October 1, 2019. Applications will not be accepted after October 1, 2019.

SHOW RULES

EVERY YOUTH MUST FULLY COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION AND SUBMIT IT.
It is your responsibility to make sure your application was received.

Exhibitors must reside in Clay County or attend a Clay County High School / Home School. Graduates are ineligible. Exhibitors must be in good standing in school. Exhibitors not in good standing will not be allowed to participate.

YOU MUST BE AND MAINTAIN STATUS AS A 4-H or FFA MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING AND BE COMPLETELY ENROLLED TO PARTICIPATE

Exhibitors that participated in the 2019 Swine Project, completed all requirements including record books will be automatically in the same animal project for the following year, providing they go through the application process. Any Exhibitors not making weight or not completed all requirements will have to submit an application and go through the lottery drawing for the next years program. (Option: 1 time only to switch programs)

All other applicants will be placed into a random drawing. All names drawn will be placed in order on an alternate list. The drawing will be held prior to October 15, 2019. Open slots will be filled first until the limit is met. All remaining names will stay on the alternate list as they were drawn. If an opening occurs, the open slots will be filled starting with the first name on the alternate list. You will be notified by e-mail.

AFTER THE TAG-IN DATE, NO OPENINGS WILL BE FILLED UNLESS SOMEONE DOES NOT SHOW OR ANIMAL FAILS TO MAKE WEIGHT, THEN OPENINGS WILL BE FILLED WITH ALTERNATES IN THE ORDER THEY WERE DRAWN IN OCTOBER 2019.

THE CLAY COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION “LIVESTOCK DIRECTOR AND THE CCFA BOARD OF DIRECTORS”
Will have the final judgment in regard to the interpretation of all rules and regulations. During the creating/typing/printing of these rules, changes, errors, deletions, or omissions may occur, in which case the “Clay County Fair Association” reserves the right to construe its own rules and regulations, and to decide all matters and differences in regards thereto including amendments. The Clay County Fair Association also reserves the right to refuse exhibitors.
