We want to invite you to participate in the upcoming 2024 Clay County Agricultural Fair Ag Ventures Program! This is a great learning opportunity, and we believe this is an excellent way to expose agriculture education to the youth of our community.
This will be an exciting time for our Ag Tours at the fair. On Tuesday, April 9th we will host 1st and 2nd graders and on Thursday, April 11th we will host 3rd and 4th graders. The space will be limited to 1,000 students each day. We will have our great educational stations once again this year. There will be 5 stations at 17-minute intervals. These stations will be interactive where students will learn by doing.
Lunch information:
- This year lunch is not a scheduled part of the day.
- If you wish to bring your lunches to enjoy on your own, the Cattlemen’s arena stands will be open.
Chaperones are also an important part of our Ag Ventures tours. Each class can bring up to 3 chaperones, not including the teacher. Due to strict time constraints, we ask that siblings not attend with chaperones.
