Any charitable organization can submit a rain barrel. The first 15 organizations to register get their barrel provided free. You are responsible for painting your own barrel. Barrels must be finished and at the fairgrounds by March 27th. Your organization’s barrel will be on display throughout the fair. Fair goers will vote for their favorite. At the end of the fair, we will award the People’s Choice winner with $500. On April 12th, the last day of the fair, we will auction off the barrels and each organization will receive 100% of their barrel’s selling price. We do not accept political or religious organizations. Your organization’s name cannot be visible on the side of the barrel, but instead must be clearly marked on the bottom.

2026 applications are now available. We will be choosing 15-20 organizations for the picnic tables this year. We will let you know if you are selected or not by February 20th, 2026. Paint day will be March 12^th, 13^th and 14^th and tables need to be primed before the 11^th. We open April 2rd, 2026. We provide the artist unless you already have one that you work with, let us know that please. We do not accept political, religious or for profit organizations.
