Listed on this page are all of the competitive exhibits and shows available for the 2027 Fair.

How To Enter:

Choose the competitive exhibit or show that you are interested in.
Read the rules before you register
Click on the 'Apply' button to register for the show- This will take you to the EZ Fair program to finish registering.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

All Livestock Participants are required to complete a ethics course. Please see your show's rules for more information
All market animals are part of the project's termination process and will go to slaughter (no exceptions).
Entries and Rules open for all other contest and shows in November 2026 and will close March 2027.

Livestock Dates & Deadlines:

Swine & Steer - Mandatory Exhibitor & Parent / Guardian Meeting: September 26 | Middleburg High school | 8AM | *MUST HAVE SIGNED UP ON PRE-REGISTRATION TO ATTEND!*
January 15th | Deadline to have registered for Swine / Steer through EZ Fair, submitted report card, submitted ethics, submitted ear tag and turned in your 3 buyers letters UNSEALED.

NEW FOR 2027

ALL species are required to complete ethics training. This includes rabbits, chickens, cattle, horses, swine, sheep and goats.
If you are showing an animal at the fair you will be required to take the ethics course.

If you have NOT taken the 3-hour IN PERSON Ethics Course, you will need to do so before the 2027 Clay County Fair (each show has different deadlines, please see rules).

If you HAVE taken the 3-hour IN PERSON Ethics Course, you will need a refresher.
